Cutflower Workshop with Donna Yowell
On Thursday, May 20, at 4 p.m., join us at the Eudora Welty House & Garden for a small beginner’s workshop on cut flower gardening with special guest Donna Yowell of the Flower Growers of Mississippi. Registration fee is $20 per person and space is limited to fifteen participants. Face masks and social distancing guidelines are required while on site. Donna Yowell serves as the founder of the Flower Growers of Mississippi and executive director of the Mississippi Urban Forest Council (MUFC). She has led numerous educational workshops, trainings, and economic development initiatives in local floristry, urban forestry, and horticulture therapy around the state.
